So as I sit and read my comments, I found that alot of people want to know how to improve.
I'm betting you are tired of hearing people say "practice"?
Well for me, improving is not instant. I may not even notice it, but every time I draw im improving a little.
How to Improve:
Draw all the time, draw everything you see, draw what you want to draw, draw in other peoples styles, draw realistic, draw cartoon, anything. JUST DRAW. Do it all the time. Draw in your notebooks and on your homework.
Do you hate the way you draw eyes? Maybe your paws/hands need more practice? Then find references and use them. I personally don't always find the time to use references, but I find when I do, my art is 10x better. Just practice drawing those eyes you've never gotten quite right. Look at other art and see what you really like about their style. And then try it out.
Now that you've practiced a bit more, draw something- using your best ability. DO NOT TRASH IT. I promise it looks good!
Find tutorials and read them and learn about your program and KEEP DRAWING
here are some I really like:
Wait a month or so and then redraw step 3. Redrawing makes me want to do WAY better in my art. I work harder and learn more. I PROMISE YOU WILL SEE IMPROVEMENT.
I'm sorry this is all over the place but these are some tips to help you improve- Step 5 is crucial. Redraw. It makes me really proud of my artwork
